DIY Wolf Plush

Hi everyone! This is a cute little plush I made for a friend. It is supposed to be a wolf. I know, it doesn't look like any real animal on earth but I like it anyway. I was inspired by the adorable fox plush from ABM. First, I drew a little sketch of what I wanted it to look like.

Hahaha, he looks evil.

Then I drew this on a piece of fabric and pinned two pieces of fabric together. I cut them and sewed with my sewing machine around the line. I left a gap to be able to flip it inside out.

 

 

I filled it with stuffing and closed it by stitching by hand. Then I cut a white piece of fabric to do the belly, black eyes and a nose. And I sewed them on the plush and stitched all around. This was the very long part. I would advise watching a movie or some tv series episodes.

Flower girl

And here is the first drawing of this blog!
I drew this for an art class project and I am very proud of it so I wanted to show it.

It looked like that without colors. I actually really liked it but I felt my project needed color because there was another part with a spooky skull so I really wanted it to contrast.

DIY Deer Tee

Hey everyone! How was your valentine's day? 

Holidays are here for me! I'll try to post almost every day because I can spend as much time as I want on my blog for the next two weeks. So be prepared!

I made this simple deer tee with an old grey shirt, a sponge and some black fabric paint. I also used a stencil:

I love the sponged effect so much, I kept the stencil and hung it to my wall :)

To make your own, use some cardboard or something else between the two sides of your top so that the paint doesn't go through. Make sure the stencil is in the middle, exactly where your want it to be and tape it to the tee. Then, dab your small sponge or piece of sponge and paint !

Let dry for at least a day. Your fabric paint should have specific instructions for washing or ironing it.  What design would you chose ? Tell me in the comment section and don't forget to follow me on bloglovin.

Valentine's Day manicure

 

Hi everyone! Valentine's Day is today!

I made this simple manicure with pink and hearts. I know right, hearts and pink for Valentine's day ? Could I be any more cliche ? I don't know.

 

 I also drew some arrows. I think this little one is my favorite.

And here's the other hand: with an cute XO and another arrow. (I always think about gossip girl when I hear or say XOXO, do you?)

Yep, that little arrow is defenitly my fav'. I wish you lot's of love, from your man/friends/family (chose the option you want, or all, why not?)

DIY Branch Necklace Holder

Hi everybody!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner, are you exited?

Today, I want to show you this pretty branch that I use to hold my necklaces. I was inspired by all these beautiful antler jewelry holders. I would have loved to make one but then I found this interestingly-shaped branch near my fire place and decided to use it instead. So here's how you can make your own.

You'll need: A branch, some wire, pliers and anything you like to decorate it!

Bend the wire around the branch and make a loop. I made two hooks, but depending on the length or shape of your branch you might need more.

 Hang it to the wall with screws. And hang your necklaces on it!

Then, you can decorate it. I made a paper flower (http://liagriffith.com/ has a lot of great tutorials on different flowers) and stuck it with double-sided tape. And I used the leaves of a fake flower because they just fell off. Of course, you could also leave it simple and natural.

Chocolate macaroons

 I made chocolate macaroons ! I had never ever made macaroons but I asked a friend to teach me so that's why they are so pretty (most of the beautiful ones shown in the pictures are the ones she made, thanks Pauline! <3 )

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I have been pretty busy but the holidays are in one week so expect to see a lot of DIYs and other fun stuff coming your way!

DIY Jewelry box

 I made this simple jewelry box to store my rings and stud-earrings. And you can easily make your own!

You'll need some foam, scissors, glue, fabric (I would advise a thick fabric in any color you like) and a box. I used the box of an old video tape.

Measure the size of your box to know what size you'll need to cut your little foam pieces.

Then, glue the foam pieces with the fabric by folding it each time like on the picture above.

For the fabric, I used black so I can really see my jewelry pieces. I think a pattern could be cute but it might distract the attention from the jewelry.

Don't you think these deer earrings are the cutest ? My sister gave them to me for Christmas! And here you go, you got yourself a cute jewelry box. I might do another tutorial to show you how I decorate it.
